But a dream

My dad could never walk me down the aisle,

Because he only stayed in this world for a while,

And though I’ve written what’s inside of me,

I know I can never be truly free.

Your life and death may have been in the past

Yet the pain and sorrow are bound to last

And everytime I have been crying,

That will never change anything.

If only you were here instead

Then my life will be filled less with dread

But this is nothing but a dream,

And you’re not even smoke or steam.
